About the Role
Bar Raising Fitness is expanding its team and looking for motivated, high-energy Sport and Fitness Trainers to join our growing facilities in Dubuque and Dyersville, Iowa. We specialize in advanced sports and fitness training, helping athletes and individuals maximize their potential through elite-level coaching.
As a Trainer, you will coach athletes and fitness clients in both individual and group settings. Your role involves designing personalized workout programs, coaching clients through their journey, and helping them achieve their performance and fitness goals.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement workout programs for a diverse range of clients
• Coach clients through individualized and group workouts
• Monitor progress and adjust training plans as needed
• Ensure proper form, technique, and safety during training sessions
• Create a high-energy and motivating training environment
• Lead group training sessions ranging from 1 to 20 clients
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization

• $16.00 - $60.00 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and commission opportunities)
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, CSCS, or equivalent)
CPR & AED Certification (required)
2+ years of experience in strength training within a collegiate, professional, or private performance setting
Speed & plyometric training experience (preferred for working with athletes)
Athletic background (preferred)
Ability to work with clients of all ages and fitness levels
Strong coaching, teaching, and communication skills
